RE: Main rotor shaft update

And you're sorry for starting a completely new thread that is a continuation of your other thread? Now everyone is confused ... do we reply to this thread, the original thread, run both side by side...

RE: New Bees learning to pitch left & right

In other countries, driver side and passenger may be the opposite of your driver side and passenger side but their left and right will still be the same as yours. Use what ever keeps you flying...

RE: remote question

There are AA chargers that hold more than 4 batteries you know. I have two that can charge 10 AA's at a time (per charger). Like was said earlier, just make sure the AA's are "rechargeable".

RE: 12x programming

If I remember correctly, the knobs were only active (or the most active) at/around mid-stick because that was where hover use to be flown at (mid-stick). Today, it seems that even beginners are...

RE: collective and elevator control swapped

Glad to see you're off on the right foot. Just remember that when you are in the swash menu, you are adjusting FUNCTIONS and not Channels. So when you see A, E, and P ... these are FUNCTIONS. ...

RE: aileron gyro

You mean like you do for the tail rotor servo? Rather the opposite of wise ...

If you have a eCCPM heli, the aileron channel is also used to for the collective function and the elevator...

RE: Futaba 8UH & Telebee 701 gyro?

If you really have an 8UHx and not an 8UHxs (super) then you don't have the gyro menu option (per the Futaba website http://www.futabarc.com/manuals/notes-8u.html )

RE: collective and elevator control swapped

First thing to do is learn the difference between reversing channels and reversing (swash) functions. With a eCCPM swash, these two things do NOT do the same thing.

I'd set your Swash settings...

RE: Beginner w/ CP PRO 2- outta control??

A gyro in rate mode does nothing to hold YAW. Only the mechanical trim will do that under controlled conditions. Even a heli without a gyro will hold YAW in a hover under the right conditions. ...

RE: Helicopter found

There's a heli club just south of Rancho Cordova on Eagles nest. http://www.svrw.com/
Might try there and see if anyone is missing a heli.

RE: Speed up my spin please :)

Ok gyro/atv settings have been discussed.

If your tail rotor is at max mechanical travel ... and you want more ...

You can try increasing tail rotor RPM. Increasing head speed also...

RE: At What Point Do I Purchase a CCPM?

Offended, no. Confused, ahhhh ... yeah. Are you sure you're in the right thread?

The OP asked specifically about potential 3D helis thus the 3D suggestions. I don't know how you get...

RE: Head lock gyro question

Gyros sense angular velocities/rates. Hopefully your entire heli is YAWing at the same rate. As long as you can make the necessary connections, the gyro is not affected by some other electrical...

RE: HBFP is turning right

uhhhhh ... the heli yawed right and you added MORE right?? I think I see your problem. If the heli YAWS right, you should be correcting with LEFT rudder not right.

RE: At What Point Do I Purchase a CCPM?

You don't necessarily need CCPM to do 3D.
There are 3D capable non-CCPM helis out there (ie TT Raptor, etc)

Did you mean ... "At What Point Do I Purchase a CP?" ? (As opposed to Fix pitch...

RE: OS 50 SX engine cutoff when throttle applied

Fair enough. I was going by your post that read that you didn't have the hyper but the plain SX. I just assumed the H was for Hyper. The SX-H definitely has a different carb config than SX and it...

RE: OS 50 engine problems

Ideally ... you should not have to adjust this needle ... the manual even says this. However, things happen ... dirty needle, change of fuel, engine tech had a bad day at the factory, faulty O-ring,...

RE: OS 50 SX engine cutoff when throttle applied

The Find (Figure) Numbers (FN) are the numbers in the little bubbles.
That would be FN 2 ( the part that has an arrow pointed at it called mixture adjustment). This the low mixture adjustment.

RE: OS 50 engine problems

This is not true. I posted in your thread that the low/idle mixture adjust is inside the throttle rotor. Look through the hole in the center of the throttle arm nut and deep inside the throttle...

RE: OS 50 SX engine cutoff when throttle applied

Looking at the 50sx-40-46-61-91fx manual, PG 15 shows the 50SX & 40/46FX have a 40B carb. I just looked at my 46FX and it has a 40B carb and it DOES have a low end mix adjustment deep inside the...

RE: Belt CP Spinning Help!
