RE: trouble starting new hyper 7

How are you priming it?
I usually pop my finger over the exhaust and pull a couple of times on the starter.
If you are still having trouble you can remove the air filter and put a few drops of...

RE: Hyper 7 PBS

CNC knuckles for sure. It offers much more steering and will not break like the cast ones.
Cheap on ebay too as the hyper 8 ones are a straight fit.

RE: Fast tough buggy

The toughest buggy is the Hyper 7, but its not the most raceworthy. That may fall to the Losi, but it won't be as tough and a little less forgiving to drive. Forget the Violotor as its a great big...

RE: have u heard of this?

I don't recall the guy asking "What to buy?" He asked is the Storm CL-1 any good?
Why do people feel the need to push what they have on everybody else?

The CL-1 pro is a decent buggy. Not sure...

RE: new buggy

The MP9 is overpriced period (full stop).
The Xray and mugen offer much better value for money.

RE: How is the Hyper7 TQ black edition .21????

I'm fairly sure you can swap out the cylinder. You certainly could in the older hyper engines.
Its a good buggy and the ONLY sensible choice at that money. They have been around for a while but...

RE: looking for a decent steering servo

ACE DS1015 or Sanwa ERG-VZ. you will never need anything more than one of these and it will transform your buggy.

RE: Is engine temp best way to tune engine?

As long as its under 300 and you have smoke you OK.

RE: NEW BUGGY

I voted X-ray because i only had one choice. I'd equally have the Mugen though. I think both of these are slightly better than the RC8 in terms of quality. Performance wise they are probably...

RE: first chance to run my hyper 7, general newbie advice appreciated

If it does it continuously look to replace the one-way bearing.
They are notorous for this kind of thing which is why 80% people on here use a starter box.
With care and looking after though pull...

RE: Building a 1/8 buggy question

RE: what buggy to get

The Hyper 7 will be a LOT more durable. Infact the hyper is about the most durable buggy available.
Spares at your LHS depends on what they stock i'm afraid, but go and type hyper 7 in ebay, then...

RE: what buggy to get

I'm inclined to agree.

The best buggy for that money i reckon is the hyper 7. you'd still have some change for a few upgrades out of $350 too, such as a receiver pack, tyres or put some money...

RE: RC8 Opinions

I don't think you would be dissapointed.
You linked to the FT kit. Is it the same your buddy has? The FT kit would be a better buy than a standard RC8.

RE: Is my engine a Pro 21 Turbo

There appears to be some confusion over the term Turbo here.
K B is pointing to a turbo plug engine, which in most terms IS what a turbo engine is reffered to.
In this case though the hobao...

Nitro fuel is fine to flush with yes. As for bearings, pop them out and clean them when they are dirty, but they are sealed and for the most part disposable items. When you get play or poor runnig...
