Zenoah G-38 needle valve adjustment

I have a used Zenoah G-38 that I bought. It hadn't been run in about 5 years, so I bought a carb rebuild kit and rebuilt the carb.
I opened both needle valves 1.5 turns and then started the engine....

Another option is to order the optional scale engine kit from Balsa USA for their 1/3 scale cub. It is ABS plastic and included the cylinders, valve covers, and eyebrow cooling shroud.
