I use Latex OUTDOOR Paint and FLOWTORAL mixed in. Give's a nice even flow and leveling effect to the paint. Takes a liittle longer to dry but worth the wait.

By the way, the Zenoah 26cc magnito was the perfect motor for the Hawk, hardly any extra nose weight to haul around and she flew and sounded like a Beast! Only had to cut out a small hole in the cowl...

Crashed my Hawk last Aug. 19th after 5 years of great flights. Had a radio brown out and it was over before I could blink. Busted up the top and bottom wing but saved the Zenoah 28cc magnito engine....

The Honey colored glue is probably Epoxy if it's around the Fire Wall. That's what I use to fuel proof that whole area with. Usually Z-Poxy. Just a light coat to cover the whole engine compartment. I...

If I understand you correctly, this is what I do. It's safer to epoxy the two wing section's together. It may be harder to transport but your wing's won't come apart. The flying wire's are also...

They work great at the flying field to. I hang one out the back of my cap and wipe my face with one and the Bug's keep away from my face. Sounds odd but it work's. No more slapping bugs out my eye...
