RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

Here's how I held my choke open...very simple!
Hooked a nyrod to the choke and ran it out of the bottom of the cowl. I used a gator clip to hold it in place when I pulled the nyrod down. Once the...

RE: 3MM-TOC 53 Who sells them?

Do you sell throttle arms separately? My 3mm TOC 53 doesn't have a throttle arm on the carburetor. I made up something that works (for now anyway), but would feel a lot safer with the real deal. I...

RE: Syssa vs DLE 30cc.... Stright up, witch one makes more thrust?

I have not owned both. Just the Syssa. I do have other, larger gas engines however. Syssa is the easiest thing I've ever used, and the 3 standoff mounting didn't strike me as bad or good per...

RE: Tip stalling remedies?

On this particular plane, the tank is well forward of CG, unlike my gassers. I have a 12 ounce tank. I never thought about it, but a glow plane is never balanced until it is empty! CG will always be...

RE: Tip stalling remedies?

Small throws...check. So I'm guessing 3D experimentation with a tip stall prone plane is foolishness.

Tip stalling remedies?

I purchased a Seagull Extra arf (.75 to .95 size / 63" ws) as an aerobatic "trainer" if you will. After getting it home I read mant reviews that said it tip stalled easily. Since I am not a skilled...

RE: Templates for cooling cutouts?

Why do you think manufacturers bother to design engine cooling elements on their products? Why do you think every internal combustion engine I can think of is implemented in a manner that allows it...

RE: Pilot RC 73

Redwing looks nice, but I think the Pilot-RC has a bit more bling. Look at the photos closely; there is a difference. Still, I must admit I am jealous of the pipe tunnel.

3MM 53 Hop Up kit

I just installed the Hop Up kit for the 3MM 53. I've never worked on a carb before and the kit didn't come with instructions (just an oversight I am certain.) Since it is the wekend, it'll be several...

Hop Up Kit questions...I didn't have instructions in my kit so I tried the install on my own. I have never touched a carb so I am flying blind. Everything seemed to make sense except I wasn't sure...

RE: Pilot RC 73

The Pilot RC 73' Sbach does NOT have a cannister/pipe tunnel. I wish it did. I have the Syssa 30cc in mine and it works great...but with a pipe it would be amazing!
