RE: Thunder Tiger Expo 3D/Spirit 3D..

Hey Supernova, where do you fly? I am only about 1/2 hour from you.

I just lost my Spirit 3D a little while back. I had electrified it and it flew great. My AUW was very light at about 60oz....

RE: Thunder Tiger Spirit 3D Video

Well the link in post #2 is dead now and so is the plane. Lost it a few months ago in a mid-air collision with a mini flying wing doing about 80mph. He wasn't supposed to be flying on that side of...

RE: Thunder Tiger Spirit 3D Video

This is another little clip from about a month ago of a trim flight to adjust the program. The wind gave out as I landed and gave me a scare. Splayed the cheapo LG that comes with it a little but was...

Thunder Tiger Spirit 3D Video

I've been playing around with this plane for a little while now and I am really starting to like it. I am running a Mega 16-25-3 with 5s1p Apogee 2480's and/or Tanic 2450's. It's pullin about 28A...

RE: Brushless F-27 Stryker

FC, that's all good, I just don't like to comment on products that I haven't used or personally seen being used. I have never even seen a GP1100 cell yet therefor no comment, but in my glider that I...

RE: Seduction Freestyle

Well CG is back to about 170 now and Knife Edge has lost most of the coupling it had. Rolls are very axial. Still need a little down for inverted flight and still doesn't Harrier well tho, time to go...

RE: Brushless F-27 Stryker

Mrfixit, you can try those packs but I don't think they are of high enough quality to sustain high currents for long and my end up venting the cells or just plain diminish their life span....

RE: f-27 stryker

Hagar69, with a little patience, almost anything can be fixed. Here are a couple shots of mine from last summer, the result of a high speed dive (approx. 90mph) straight in. Repairs were made using...

RE: Brushless F-27 Stryker

Thanks, I've got a couple cool clips from yesterday's flying that I'd like to post too, but until ezone is back online I have no place to host them.
There is no reason why you couldn't run a 7cell...

RE: Ultrafly F-16

I'm sure the airframe can handle pretty much whatever you throw at it, the stick in my BAe Hawk didn't budge with 250 watts, the only thing I would be the least bit concerned about is the full flying...

RE: Brushless F-27 Stryker

Here is a taste of the kinda performance you can expect with a Mega 16/15/4 on 3s TP2100's and a 6x5.5e prop. (the second link from the top is mine) http://www.rc-forums.com/videos/planes/
My...

RE: Ultrafly F-16

I too have picked one of these up, I am in the building process still so I can't give a flight report yet but I can tell you I do have the Ultrafly BAe Hawk and it flys very well. It is not by any...

RE: Seduction Freestyle

Well, it was windy (about 15-20mph) but I got a second flight under my belt with the Seduction yesterday. I need to move the CG back a little, I now have it at 185mm from the TE, the book says 190...

RE: Seduction Freestyle

Thank you Flight Addict, but I must give credit to Daking as it was his idea at first and I just borrowed it.
About monitoring the lipo temp, that's a big 10-4 as I already know to do so as well as...

Seduction Freestyle

Well here is my first attempt at an electric conversion of a .40 size ship. I took a Pilot Models Seduction Freestyle and put a big, bad, you guessed it, speed 400 size brushless motor in it. Now...

RE: GP Venus fly 3D?

I agree, the Venus cannot 3D! I have a Saito 72 in mine and it will hover but doesn't have enough tail authority to hover for long and won't torque roll or anything like that. If you input too much...
