I have some of that insulation already on hand from a car project. I am going to shoot for mounting the turbine so that I don't have to integrate a thrust tube, that looks like it will be a pain.

Tank setup, felt clunk?

A dubro tank with the gasoline stopper works for turbine application right? I read a few places that a felt clunk is suggested, is that universal or are there tradeoffs?

Late 70's to Mid 80's, was there a second kit made for the Kress RK-049 ducted fan?

I am starting to question my memory. I have several RK-049 fan units and a few of the Midwest Skyhawks which was the plane made specifically for that fan unit. Lately I seem to be thinking that I...

It burns 65ml a min at full throttle. So 1 pint (16 0z) will run for 8 min at full throttle. They spec the engine, ECU, pump, and 1 pint of fuel as weighing 1.6lbs. I may go with a 14oz tank based on...

Building a 1/2a turbine, sort of, work with me on this
