Model programming storge

Wanting to move radio module from one to another radio. Would like to know where the model programming is stored, is it in the module or in th circuit board in the radio? THANKS for responce.

I have heard that one can use a tractor prop put on bachwards in place of a pusher prop. If this is so how efficient will the tractor prop be?
