RE: Official HPI Baja 5 Thread (5T, 5B, 5B SS)

Yes I'm surprised too that this thread cut short early. The HPI Baja is still a very popular petrol powered 1/5 scale basher.

I have just dyed some wheels to match my RPM arms and fitted some...

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread

Hi Brett

The Nitrage is a very tough cookie and your NOT likely to need a great deal of spares. The spares that you are likely to need are mainly centred around the clutch area ie the clutch...

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread

Goat, I'm pleased you tried the TNX tank, I think its a far better design than the stock Nitrage, I like the primer pump and yes it does hold a bit more fuel too. I have never looked back since using...

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread

Hi Goat.

Well it depends upon what % nitro you are burning mate. The higher % nitro , the cooler the plug you will need. I run my Nitrages with a 25% mix and found that I was burning the Tamiya...

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread

A little bit of advice mate, If your spending hard money on a new piston and sleeve, then I would recommend you change both crank bearings at the same time because they are probably worn and it would...

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread

Hi nitrageowner

Sounds like you have two problems there pal, firstly you mention the starter pin not grabbing, this problem is more likely to be the one-way bearing not biting on the starter...

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread

The TNX tank, unfortunately does NOT directly use the same stud mountings as the stock Nitrage tank. I had to fabricate a spacer to get it to fit. I used a 12mm thick peice of nylon as a spacer and...

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread
