Not going to happen I'm afraid to tell you. You would have to carve out the floor of the cockpit and get airflow through there to cool the cannister so you'd also have to have exit air somewhere...

theres no trick with the windshield..you have to bend the hell out of it and it will go in. Bend it more than you think and it will work.

Good point about the drag on the open gear bays. If we servo operate them it might cause trouble for the fail safe spring down gear in an air pressure failure. Maybe a simple cut out for the gear...
