Put the training gear on top of the skids, your trying to land on the skids not the gear.

Dont worry about any centre of gravity issues as the training gear should be equal length and crossed...

I did this on my blade 400 with the stock connectors, the connectors didnt plug together but did let the electricity arc across which fried my esc.

Good theory jon, but in idle up you would not be able to stop the heli though. Low stick mid stick or high stick would still have motor running at at least 50% - 100% unless of course you were using...

From my experiance id say for the price you cant go wrong nfor the 400, this is becasue the dx6i is worth the deal alone and you get a heli for free.

Now i have had my fair share of problems...
