I would go with nitro, 30-50 size. They are more stable and have a broader flight envelope. The downside is the cost and a proper place to flight.

After a failure in a Futaba servo, I switched to Hitec. Never had an extraordinary problem an my 50+ Hitecs over the last 4 years. The only problem was a stripped gear in a HS-81 (non-metal gear)...

The higher the number the best. Each group (ex. 6600) has different boards (ex. GT or PRO). Also they have different slots (PCIe or AGP- depends on your mainboard). Just check for the memory speed...
