New Monsson chassis?

Hi All

I bent my chassis on my monsoon from a bad crash and was looking to buy a new one. When I searched chassis under monsoon, two parts came up.

the one in the manual: 88004...

I was reading an article on the importance of not landing a jump with the throttle on and It got me thinking. The article stated that it puts tremendous stress on the drive train and that spur gears...

You can also try using the gel loctite. I find that it is less messy to use and you waste less than the liquid loctite.

I took out my monsoon this weekend for some jumping...it ran great until my exhaust broke off from a jump.

I made a video of it, and you can hear the exhaust coming off in mid air on the last...

Fiberglass tape for drywall and shoe goo works really well.
Stick the tape on the inside of the body where the crack is and then spread shoe goo over it.

I would love to get my truck out on the track, but that 75$ membership fee is kinda steep considering I don't think I would go to the track enough to make it worthwhile

How come? I think mine has a 1:1 optics. I thought that 1:1 means at 1 inch it measures a circle the diameter of 1inch, while a 1:2 would measure at 1 inch a diameter of 2 inches.

What's wrong with STS? I thought the sts .30 was a good motor.....I almost bought it, but went with the axial .32 instead.

ah...you mean the wrench in my last pic?
LOL...That is a small wrench..7mm. I used it to remove the fuel nipple on the carb to reposition it so that the fuel lines are neater inside the body.

hmmm so it is 5mm.

I don't see any on the redcat site.
I guess they don't have those?

I tried going down to my local hardware store, but the only grub screws they had were not metric. Pretty strange if you ask me though since I am in Canada:D
