P38nut, Holy crap...so sorry for all your troubles!! My PBY kit is still sitting untouched in the basement. Doesn't look like I'll get to it anytime too soon as too much else going on in life.

Hey Mike!
Whew...you've been through an awful lot! Well don't feel too bad, I still haven't started my PBY kit, too many distractions. Maybe this winter?

RE: 72" Consolidated PBY Catalina build

I've been trying to track down Mike without any luck. Seems he has disappeared. I'd like to see if he's made any more progress on the Catalina build. Nice build while it was happening!

RE: 72" Consolidated PBY Catalina build

[8D] p38nut,

Ordered my Fred Novack 72" PBY / plans and they are in transit. Can hardly wait to get started. How's it going with your build?

Later,
Freddy

RE: 72" Consolidated PBY Catalina build

 What do you consider reasonably priced? This is a short kit, no sheeting and no hardware.

RE: 72" Consolidated PBY Catalina build

[8D]Bob,

Yes I did get a quote on the kit and I'm just deciding when to jump in!! I've got an Ivan P. Short Sealand on my build bench at the moment that I'm trying to finish. Too many planes...

RE: 72" Consolidated PBY Catalina build

p38nut,

Whew! Awesome looking kit! Please keep the build and pictures coming!

I contacted Greg (Charlotte cutters) and I too am thinking of building this kit.

Freddy
