RE: any info on this engine?

Its the new version of the N21BF motor.

Excellent piece that won't break the bank.

RE: Plaese help me decide which truggy/buggy is right for me?

Without a doubt, the Losi 8T 2.0 RTR.

Absolutely the best bang for the buck and a very well rounded package for someone just getting in to it.

RE: best motor for Losi 8ight buggy??

For the $$$, I was really impressed with the Mach 2 motor.

I saw a guy go 10+ minutes on a tank in race pace.

The Losi 350 engine, as well as the Dynamite Platinum XP are worth looking...

The new Losi composite (black) discs are the BOMB.

RE: Factory Team RC8 electric conversion

Show-off......;)

Doesn't appear to be a shortage of power, just a 'slight' shortage on traction......

RE: 8ight 2.0 servos. Pitch 'em or keep 'em?

Yes it does suck.

The stock servos aren't much good, imo.
Pretty cheesy stuff.

The one thing I see happen on these cars is that people set the end point 'properly' but don't leave any...

RE: engines?

The Losi, Dynamite and LRP engines are made by SH engines, not GRP.

I'll secong the PITA break-in....

The Losi 350 on my Son's 8B 2.0 RTR has been a monster to break in.
Around half a...

RE: Servo spec comparison and what torque or speed do we draw the line?

On unregulated lipo, they are faster.

I ran a 5955 steer and 5625 t/b in my Jammin truggy on straight lipo.
Zero issues and they were plenty quick.

RE: Servo spec comparison and what torque or speed do we draw the line?

Opinions will vary on the subject.

My experience is limited to JR, AE, Hitec and Futaba.

I like as much torque as possible and speed in the .12 to .15 range for steering.
T/B doesn't call...

RE: starter box battery

I guess it's a progressive kind of thing...

I started out with stick packs, went to a gel cell, then on to lipo packs.

I know I'll never use anything else.

RE: truugy selection!

Had a Jammin/BCE (X2 before there was an X2), liked it, sold it.

Have an RC8T, really liked it, still sitting on the shelf.

Not on your list, but I bought the 8ight T 2.0 and LOVE it.

RE: starter box battery

If you can get the nimh for $20, then go get them.

It doesn't matter to me what you run.

RE: starter box battery

No more expensive than a decent set of nimh packs.

The expensive part is the charger, but those can be had for a song if you look in the right places.

I paid $50 for my ProTek starter box...

RE: Receiver Battery Pack Questions

Slow charge is the best charge, IMO.

3 mV/c @ .5 A is what I used with that same setup.

Not slamming OSRocket here, but I had a similar experience with a V Spec p/s set.

I recently sent out 3 P/S sets to RayA Racing and am extremely pleased with the results.

I think there is...

RE: motor help

Sorry, force of habit.....

Lots of choices in the larger range of engines, as well.

I really liked the OS .28XZ when I had it.

It was a fuel hog in my hands, but it had the POWER.......

RE: Engine locking up

You really shouldn't store the car with fuel in it.

It can do bad things to the engine over time.

That said, just remove the glow plug, turn the car upside down and rotate the engine a few...
