TF giant P-47 ARF vs kit

Anyone happen to know if the cowl to the ARF/RTF is larger than the cowl that comes with the kit version? I have the kit and the cowl appears to be smaller than pictures of the arf plane version...

Hey Jeff, I picked this one up from a friend who had started it and did most of the work. Needs lots of TLC. The blue car is a 74 Fiat 124 sedan. Video will be required for the maiden flight!

Awesome, sounds a lot like mine. My elevators also need down trim for level flight. when you look at them prior to take off I almost want to trim them to neutral but it flies well with that trim....

thanks Quist, I did some repairs to my hood yesterday after flying all day. I fiberglassed it on the inside to strengthen it. Now it looks like it has been used in combat. Thanks for the info on...

It flew well, but whenever I would go vertical she would slow wayyy down. Did not try a loop. It sounded pretty cool and you could hear the prop swishing. Only prob is the engine died on me in...
