The E-Flights drop right in the nose gear block with no mods, the main gear fits nicely as well, however you will need to remove the plasic liner below the main body of the retract in order to allow...

What about the other Simla airframes you are refering too? I wwould love to see the other variants of this bird.

So Ed called all of these models the Taurus? If so maybe they should be designated 1 through 10 or however many there were, similar to What Don Lowe did with the Pheonix.

I spoke with Joe on the phone several years ago about this very issue. His suggestion was to make it a tail-dragger, for two reasons, ground clearance and allowing for enough room in the nose section...

Build a Dirty Birdy, with the engine mounted sideways and the pipe running above the wing saddle, works out perfect with a ST series X.

I had the same problem with my nose gear. Horizon sent me a replacement unit, and it happened again. I scraped the whit coating off gently with an exacto, be careful as there are some surface mounted...
