I have had a v1 and v2 Mamba Monster die just after purchase but the 2 new V3's have been great. If one of them dies i will wait for the big new Mamba XL that shouldn't be too far away.

Yeah a few have used the 1100 series to run over 100mph and under 1.3 seconds. As to what model is the best of the 1100 series is a secret. The lighter cars can go quicker but are less consistent.

Fastlane brushless conversion chassis with extended wheelbase and Mamba Monster ESC. Currently running 6xl motor but that will change when I can afford it. 3 speed transmission.

I ran the Tekin 290 9000kv motor on 2s at the new QMDRA track and did a [email protected]/h with the car 80 grams overweight , so with a bit of sorting it should go a bit better.

Some newer brushless motors have so many rpm's per volt that anything over 4 batteries will spin the motor too fast , and yes 1/12 scale racing is the main reason for 4 cell packs

The ROAR approval of the cm36s opens the current motors to a new market doesn't it ? Would castle make a sensored motor? Tekin has got a heap of bigger sensored (70 mm ) motors on the way.
