I'll go the old school way of drilling and tapping the struts and filing a flat into the connecting pin of the retracts. I was thinking JB Weld might hold.

Each maneuver is entered and exited from level flight. Got it....

Getting that spinner perfectly aligned and with minimal gap is fine until the engine thrust needs adjusting then it's back to square one.
I wouldn't even mount the cowl until the plane is trimmed...
