RE: What will become of Hobbico?

I see Estes stuff at Wal-mart, Hobby Lobby (the dried flower craft store one), Target, and I think Toys R Us, so maybe Hobbyco can use those retailer relationships to bring more than just rockets to...

RE: MP Jet .061?

they are now on the...

RE: MP Jet .061?

To prevent confusion, note the engine we are discussing here is MP-JET, a Czech built 1cc motor no longer produced, but with stock still at Carlson engine imports.
There is another company Jett...

Tim's given the girl more attention in a day than I did in a year! I just bought it off ebay, looked at it, gazed up to my unbuilt airplane box shelf, thought that it should go in a HOB Jug, then...

RE: AP / NORVEL THREAD

I've been hiding, since I am trying to move my workbench to the garage, and I have not cranked an engine since the cs slug, so i've been trying to do more than talk about engines and airplanes, by...

RE: cox .020

A good alternative to the now used only cox might be the PAW line, they make a .033. The catch is, they are diesel. But that's a good thing many say, no glow plugs that nobody makes anymore to have...

RE: Need help identifying Thimbledrome engines

I'd list the pee-wee(s) separate as complete but un-tested, and the rest of them as a lot for parts. On the parts lot auction, you may want to put the word muffler in the title, as some people...

RE: A fan of etchings, engravings and line drawings

You don't want to learn about or know any more about Leroy. Having to set up and use the thing was a punishment for being late to work at an engineering place where I used to work.. the horror.. I...

RE: glow engine for mini telemaster?

I think the thunder tiger gp-07 would make a good match for the mini tele- it even has firewall mounting tabs cast into the crank case, and it's moderate power should suit the slow trainer type...

RE: Rehabilitating Cox engines

My favorite stuff for cleaning gummy engines is MEK from the hardware store. (methyl-ethyl-keytone) It is less volatile than lacquer thinner or acetone.
