RE: so was this worth the trade?

Get rid of the shocks (for reasons BB already stated) and the RD Logics pipe is absolutely HORRIBLE so get rid of that too. Otherwise, good trade. Stadium trucks suck.

RE: New Schumacher Manic

Before buying a Schumacher, just keep in mind that parts are VERY hard to get in the U.S. and can take weeks. No LHS I know of sells Schumacher parts. I know this because my dad has a Menace .21 that...

RE: HPI 1/5 SAVAGE 5T RTR

Wow, $1000. All the potential that I thought the truck had is negated by the price tag. WOW. It doesn't even have a fuelie in it.....

RE: Hey HPI and Savage Haters!

It hasn't been released in the U.S. yet so it isn't on the site. But it is real. Sadly.

RE: NEW TRAXXAS BIG-BLOCK AND TRUCKS

Good point nitrohead. I just want to see Traxxas succeed with a TRX big block engine. The small blocks weren't exactly the greatest.

RE: Hey HPI and Savage Haters!

Yeah it really blows my mind why HPI would even release it. The engine is too much of a turd for a 1/5th scale. The chassis looks ridiculously weak and the fuel tank should be central in the chassis....

RE: HPI 1/5 SAVAGE 5T RTR

Yeah, we do love our Savages. But the difference is, a stock Savage is pretty damn good out of the box. This 5T doesn't look too sturdy with that lengthened chassis. And the motor doesn't supply near...

RE: Hey HPI and Savage Haters!

This might be the dumbest thing HPI has ever done. A 1/5th nitro?

RE: NEW TRAXXAS BIG-BLOCK AND TRUCKS

The TRX .26 engine will most likely be pretty close in power if not more and most likely more reliable (although I am not sure as I have never had experience with a Picco).

RE: HPI 1/5 SAVAGE 5T RTR

It has potential but how many people will actually tap that potential? Most buyers will not even know what a Picco is. You bring up a good point Thunderbird and all of us will probably be able to...

RE: HPI 1/5 SAVAGE 5T RTR

HPI will get a bad rep for this one. I see a lot of chassis issues when bashers start pushing this truck. And the 5.9 is not enough to power a 1/5th scale truck. It probably only has a top speed of...

RE: T-maxx vs. Revo vs. Jato...???

Jato's in my opinion are pretty much useless. And those street tires are not helping your traction one bit. I would go with the Revo 3.3. If you can wait till November, there are rumors of a new Revo...

RE: Power in front wheels but non in the back?

It is definitely a diff problem. Check your dogbones first. Then open up your diff (which only takes five minutes on the Savage X) and make sure everything is okay. Check for missing teeth or loose...

RE: NEW TRAXXAS BIG-BLOCK AND TRUCKS

Thank you rcnitrohead. That is what I meant. And all I can say is I hope this actually does happen. I will have money ready and probably buy around Christmas. The only question now is the likely...

RE: Engine Replacement

I have never heard of this happening. My suggestion would be to call Traxxas and figure out what is up. Their customer service is exceptional and I'm sure they will get it sorted out.

RE: NEW TRAXXAS BIG-BLOCK AND TRUCKS

Here is the reason I don't fully believe this. Traxxas is a company that cares about customer satisfaction and reliability of their products. With small block engines, that reliability is ideal. Once...

T-Maxx Transmission Upgrade

Does the new T-Maxx 4908 tranny fit in the old 2.5's? My tranny blew when I put the 3.3 in it and figured I would upgrade to the 3.3 tranny.

Some Questions for T-Maxxers

I have a couple questions regarding upgraded parts. First off, has anyone tried a servo skid plate because at the skate park the servo (which hangs right out there) tends to get banged up. I want to...
