BTW another method of installing the servos for the elevators is in the fuse itself.
You need a 1/4" ply to give the servo some extra space.

The C50F should work since it is a low profile retract unit, the regular C50 is too deep and will hit the top of the wing skin.

Yes you have to remove the thin ply piece across the rib, otherwise you cannot install the servo !!!!!

It does not really matter how Skygate did theirs, CARF changed the design slightly.

Also, no need for3 formers anymore anyway, the bypass holds the front,and the rear former holds the end of the tail pipe.

Nope they were not included BUT, they are not needed, the bypass holds the front,and the rear former holds the end of the tail pipe.

I am done the wings so pictures from me of the inside of the airplane will not help you much since nothing is done in the fuse itself, just the wings so far.

Just barely but I am not using doors at the moment, maybe later I might install them.
You can also Hysol a wooden plate flush with the orginal mount, it will also work very well.

Sure Imade 3 Ushaped plates from good quality ply wood and hysoled them in place.
Gave an extra 1/4" height increase but a small penalty to pay to fit the Er-40.

Actually the Er-40 are perfect with very minor modification. Er-50 is too much for this kit.
I have just made a set using the Er-40, Behotec trailing link struts, wheels and air brakes.
