OK, but don't use a checkerboard with small squares. I did one once with one-inch black and white squares. Even close up it just became a fuzzy sort of gray.

What does that have to do with anything I said? Spoilerons and flaperons are different things. What parts move on particular planes doesn't change that.

I guess not: First flight was in 1953.

On third thought, prototype flew in 1947, so this is probably right.
