With the nose gear mounted fully forward, it was still too long and interfered with a main former just aft of the hole.
Plenty of room to shorten the mains and still clear any obstructions.

Balance is at front edge of wing tube with 1/5th tank...

Just balanced the plane @ front edge of wing tube...

Just balanced the plane @ front edge of wing tube - needs 6oz weight in the nose - this gives a total weight of 36.5lbs.

Thoughts anyone?
