12x flight modes won't turn on.

I cannot get the flight modes to work on my 12x. I have them turned on in the device menu, and selected the elevator dual rate switch to activate the modes. I go into the D/R screen and only the...

I have 2 NIB 1221x receivers and neither of them will go into bind mode. I have all 3 satellites plugged in with a battery plugged directly into the batt port and bind plug in the bind port. When I...

RE: GP CAP 580 wing location

Most of us with this plane are using the rear tube. I have flown mine with the DA100 on rear tube. Now setting up w/ zdz80 on rear tube. in most cases the plane won't ballance up front. Check out the...

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

Put 8611a's in the wings and only use 1 per side. Get a wood prop and save a little more weight, and get an Aircraft International foam pilot. The rest looks good.

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

Darrin, what is the deal? Spread the wealth. At 27# mine fly's awesome, but lighter is always better. I came out noseheavy with everything I tried on the front tube. Whats the secret? Ron

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

Bab, check your scale. Mine weighs 27.2 with smoke. I dont see how you are 2lb heavier than mine(without smoke). I just dont see where the weight could be. Ron

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

Darrin, what does yours weigh? I can't vouch for T/R's because I suck at them, but mine doesn't land hot.

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

I have lost allot of $ to hitec servos so they are not an option for me. As far as a full firewalled pass goes, 1, 8611a has more torque than the 2 servos that GP calls out. You should be ok, but I...

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

Personally, I would build the plane with single 8611 on ailerons. Fly the piss out of it and enjoy it. When you get get another $200 buy the other 2 8611 and set them on the shelf. Go fly some more....

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

The reason for 2 per aileron for IMAC is you carry much more airspeed doing precision flight, than you do for 3D. Most of the air over a control surface in 3D flight is prop wash, not much pressure....

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

I run a single 8611a on my ailerons and elevator, 2 on rudder. The only reason I put 2 on the rudder was due to the lenth of the survace. Has allot ov leverage on a single servo. I 3d mine also. If...

RE: h9 1/3 cap zdz 80 comments/questions

J, IF everything is rite on the engine you should only have to choke the first start of the day. If you have to choke every time, check to see if the fuel runs out of the fuel line at the carb,...

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

That picture is not of a wing tube failure. It is an elevator tube mount failure. The guy that lost that plane said the stop for one of the stab halves came loose and the stab tube slid into that...

RE: GP Cap 580 1/3 scale

Ian, if you look at the ailerons you will see that the outboard ply block is almost dead center in the aileron. With that said, you can get by with one 8611 in each wing. I have 2 8611's on rudder...
