Anyone here can freely search for my post on the plane in question, a CA model 330 Extra. The in giant section was finally locked when it became the only way I had to communicate with Mark Dennis as...

RE: Would you pay $6 to Eliminate MA ads?

Personally - if MA came with zero ads I'm not sure I would ever open it up. Now magazines that I go out of my way to purchase and actually ready, then yes I'd pay extra for no ads and I would guess...

RE: Need an answer

Funny thing is I had the same problems with the kit and AeroWorks told me I was the only one with problems...even tho when I ordered it they told me I was the first to get it. I laid off these forums...

RE: Best building R/C Magazine

The good thing about RC/Report is even a review is in great depth. A review of an ARF might be 4-6 pages long and most of that is text with the usual pics of details not just shots from 10 feet away....

RE: 40% 260 on a Diet

Fair enough but only a true idiot would ignore the vast knowledge the people on these boards bring. How many people have "supported" you? How many of those have actually built a giant scale kit? If...

RE: Full disclosure in R/C now?

Actually Minnflyer from my interpreation of the ruling (which obviously could be totally wrong) if someone post "Is X plane good?" and you reply with a yes you would be required to state if you had...

RE: 50% Edge 540 by BH

Everything in most ARF's originiates in the far east is why. Very few ARF's and even kit makers source hardware from the US but a few do.

RE: 50% Edge 540 by BH

Haha I just wanted to post I'm glad the shoe is on the other foot now - you hate non metric screws now you know how us in the US feel all the time with the metric crap we get here.

RE: 40% 260 on a Diet

I fear for the poeple who show up to watch this banana of a plane fly. Like I said I know someone who built a 35% and didn't get near as radical as you and the sheeting rippled to the point they quit...

RE: 40% 260 on a Diet

Why double the verticals and take out the cross bracing that makes no sense from a structural standpoint. If you really wanted to reduce weight you could have added distance between the verticals and...

RE: Full disclosure in R/C now?

RE: 40% 260 on a Diet

I've seen a 35% built similar to this in the back end. After 1 wall you could see where the sheeting from the canopy back rippled.....

RE: Nose cone

5" is probably going to be too big for a 34%. I have a 34% and around 4-1/4" to 4-1/2" is about right for the one I have. Just measure the front of the cowl and subtract just a little since the...
