RE: Power Box Royal Setup Question

Occasionally one servo is slightly different than the other, but this can be checked by taking them out and testing the throw and movement next to each other through the power box. If the movement is...

RE: A6E Intruder Test Flight

Hi Ian, I will get you some photos of the different control surfaces. Dave, it sounds like I will have to give up my career scoring movies before it has even had a chance to "take off" so to speak.

Hi Kirk,
Bogo has completed the molds, structural parts and jigs for the large A-10, it took him a bit longer than planned. He has pulled the parts for the first prototype and that should go...

RE: A6E Intruder Test Flight

Hi Ian,
The turbine is actually dialed back to around 60 lbs. This would fly quite well with a Jetcat 200, however I wanted the extra thrust margin for tests, as a lower powered engine is somewhat...

RE: A6E Intruder Test Flight

Hi Mirce, I am planning on bringing this to TG. Andy the dry weight was just in at 55 lbs. I think if I did this again I could shave off around 4 pounds. Ian's comment about power and the issues...

RE: Air Power 5-Function Valve vs. Fly Eagle 5-Function Valve?

Festo are industrial connectors, they are quite reliable. I have been using them on all of my jets for the last 5 years without any issue. The range of available fittings gives you a lot of...

RE: help on power box champion rrs

This may or may not be related to your problem, but the powerbox feeds a current limited amount of voltage to the receiver, I am not certain, but I think it is around 1 ampere. If servos are...

RE: So, lets talk about Aardvarks...

Hi Dan,
There were trim changes with the wings swept, but they were not large. I switched to electric both because I felt it is more reliable, I was able to achieve a more scale speed, and I...

RE: So, lets talk about Aardvarks...

Hi Dave,
Its a bit behind schedule which is my fault. The molds are here, and the primary layups would be done here. I have been finishing up an A-6E which I am hoping to have ready for Top Gun, so...

RE: So, lets talk about Aardvarks...

Hi Rich,
I sourced mine out of Europe. It is also possible to use a speed 400 with a maxxon gear shroud, which is cheaper than the maxxon motors. Make sure that the gearing is right for the speed...

Best Regards
Mike
