RE: Now my CX is unstable, why?

Can you explain what a separated swashplate is? I went through many of the tips and mods and saw really only the swashplate leveling post. Thanks!

Now my CX is unstable, why?

We've been flying the blade CX around the house for awhile. I have been through some blades, rotor hubs and other parts. But basically the thing flies great. Just today I replaced the lower blades....

He'd modified...

RE: cap 232 Hangar 9 80" (Alitalia)

I'm not saying it has snap issues. I am saying it doesnt take much travel to make it snap. These are not stall-proof fun fly planes.

RE: cap 232 Hangar 9 80" (Alitalia)

I kinda like the one piece wing. I had a SIG 300XS that had a wing this size also. It goes together fasssst at the field. That alone means it get flown alot.

Swiftflier, mine is a little...

RE: cap 232 Hangar 9 80" (Alitalia)

Mine fles smooth. The combo works good. I am using a 20x10 prop. A 20x8 might be better for slowing up fo landing. Downlines are fine on the 20x10.

I think my cg is about 6 1/2", measured at the...

RE: moki tuned pipe

My MOKI 2.1 on a H9 CAP is quite new. I am only into my third gallon. It now spins the Mejzlik 20x10 at 7100. During break in it was spinning a 20x8 Zinger in the high 6'sK. The 20x10 Zinger I was...

RE: moki tuned pipe

My DP Extra weighed in at a whopping 16# on a BME. It flew good, but I still got rid of it pretty fast. My DP Edge weighs in the high 13'# and flies fantastic.

RE: moki tuned pipe

The Saito sounds like a good mod. I personally think you are just running the wrong propeller. I use a Mejzlik 20x10 on my Moki 2.1 (H9 CAP) and it spins far better than an APC 20x10 or a Zinger...
