I flew me new Edge several more times and mine does not show any signs of snapping when I pull hard on the elevator - this plane flys better than the Extra 260 I used to have :(

Just maidened my 540 and it flew awesome! Just 1 click right ail and it was perfect!! Using a DA50 23x8 @ 6600 RPM. Came in at 18lbs smoke ready (without pump)

I'm mostly done with the plane with the exception of the programming and surface deflections but I was hoping fora little lighter plane in the end.....mine came in at 19#...

Did you block up the nose gear 1/4" for the steering arms to sit all the down on top of the rails? Or, do the steering arm drop behind the rails? It is hard to tell from your photos.

Just an FYI

I have a DA-50 in mine smoke ready (without pump) and the weight comes in at 18# 5oz - without the smoke you will be below 18#. Haven't flown yet - need spring to come here...

Thanks for the response but the brake can only go on one side of the strut with the Dreamworks setup - the other side is not machined to accept it. I double checked both struts and it is the same...
