Good point. Once we get better weather, I'll have to go see what it can do and how it responds.
The CG is about 1.5ft forward of the transom, putting it at about 1/4 of the entire hull length...

It's 3' x 5' and weighs about 45 lbs. The cage alone weighs 15 lbs. I think one made out of aluminum would only weigh half as much.

Have you tried Dragonplate? I'm not sure if they have the size you're looking for, but they do have square tubes, I'm not sure about square rods.

The baffle looks really good![8D]
Let us know how much the cylinder head temp drops. I bet it will make a HUGE difference.

If not, there's a little more baffling you can do to direct the flow...

Hmmm. Maybe just hold on to it for now. If the engine temps seem too high without baffling, maybe you could incorporate it into your baffle system.

Looks like you're almost ready! :D
