I just got a Avistar and want to put the GeeBee 33" floats on it and was wondering if you had to beef up the belly of the plane to attach the float supports and did you install a rudder?...

Ron,
Got it started, but had to make a call to the service center. He said to take the plug out and turn boat upside down and pull it a few time to git rid of fuel. But still will not run with 3 1/2...

I will try to give it more gas and see if that will work. I have the needle valve out 3 1/2 turns, do I need to go more? The factory setting was only about 2 1/2 turns, and I increased it to 3...
