RE: Does UPS Really Settle Claims?

I've had my share of run-ins with United Plane Smashers in the past. Post #6 explains a lot. I will NOT use UPS if there is any other choice.

RE: Great Planes Sequence F3A

TonyF, thanks for the recommendation. My LHS is going to return the Sequence to GP for a replacement. If the new one isn't usable I'll take a hard look at the Diamante.

Nosram, I'm with you on...

RE: Watcha building this winter??

Hi David,

Look for the thread around late Jan. to early Feb. I'm sure I'll have a number of questions for the pros during the build. Be advised that I'm a slow ( ! ) builder. Dan is sheeting the...

RE: Watcha building this winter??

I have a T2A MKII on order from Carolina Custom Aircraft and will likely start the build sometime after the first of next year. Since my building skills are a little rusty I'm having Dan do some of...

RE: NEW Top Flite .60 P-47D Gold Edition ARF

I picked up my set of offset strut retracts at the LHS yesterday. Great looking retracts, but they did not come with any instructions on dropping them down flush. I take it that it's just a matter of...

RE: Top Flite P-47D Thunderbolt ARF .60-.91: Building & Mods

Picked up mine at Hodges' Hobbies a little over a week ago. Haven't had time to look it over much but what I've seen looks pretty good so far, other than a not-so-hot match between the OD paint on...

RE: Fly Eagle jets Liberty Paint Scheme vote

Tough call, as they all look good. Nice work as always Jeremy.

I voted for the yellow and purple, simply for visibility reasons. I could live with a hi vis black or white though.:)

RE: Dallaire Sportster questions

Some of you old pros at building will get a snicker out of this. I spent the better part of the weekend building the two fuselage sides. They looked great! Straight, warp free, and evenly matched....

Guys, thanks for all the advice and offers.

Bepe, I do appreciate the engine swop offer, but truthfully, it may look odd but the OS is as reliable as a rock. I think I'll stick with it....

RE: Dallaire Sportster questions

Yup, I remember enjoying building C/L and F/F kits in my younger days, and the thrill of seeing them fly once they were finished. A stint in the service and a full time job put my hobby on the back...

Well, after much thought I decided to go with - none of the above. I spoke with Bob Holman today. There will be plans and a parts kit for a Dallaire Sportster 108" on the way to my home soon. Bob...

RE: Ben Buckle Kits?

Thanks for all the info and warnings everyone. I still haven't decided on which one, but am leaning toward the Falcon. It's just too purdy.:) It may challenge my building skills, but that's usually a...
