RE: Help please I'm new to these! Byron F16

You got it exactly. Patience and maintainance. Take the time NOW to get it right, and you'll have little trouble later.

RE: Help please I'm new to these! Byron F16

That's wise advice. If this is more than five years old or so, take an evening to replace ALL the airline, or you will most likely have endless small leaks, especially under the challenging...

RE: Electrics killed 1/2A?

Agreed. No way no how. Chainsaw motors going overhead are VERY noisy. VERY.

That being said, 1/2a engines(norvels with mufflers being excepted) are extremely noisy and particularly annoying,...

RE: Help please I'm new to these! Byron F16

Chances are you can fix the leak at the nipple with CA or JB weld, no big deal. And the nipple SHOULD unscrew. Good luck with it. It's not magic or rocket science, it's just a little leaking air,...

RE: Identify who's kit or plans is this Lancaster bomber built from?

If it were the Aerotech one, the turtledecks would be foam with obeche skins, as well as the rudders and stabs. So this would not be the Aerotech one, if the turtledeck is balsa. I had the Aerotech...

RE: Identify who's kit or plans is this Lancaster bomber built from?

Actually, I would say it's the old Aerotech Lancaster.

Are the turtledecks sheeted foam, with a balsa box fuselage?

RE: NEW KMP TWIN - Adam Aircraft A500

Is this from the same factory that makes Skymaster ARF-plus planes? The Lee factory?

RE: Announcement From Dreamworks Model Products

I doubt that. You don't even know if anton will still be in business in three months.
I see Tam selling his A-4s just fine, F-18's, too. And I see Bobcats, Kingcats, Vipers, Skymaster F-4s, PST...

RE: Help please I'm new to these! Byron F16

Black RhomAirs would be normal for the Byron. Springairs were often installed, but I'm pretty sure Rhom Airs were the factory fitment.
And I have a scrap box full of that stuff, show me a pic and...

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk

I had considered getting a nice set of water transfer decals with all the nomenclature done, but it's really a sport-scale plane, I did not want to take the time and expense on this one.
I only got...

RE: Sky Master jets?????????

I hear you loud and clear.
But do you hear the message the world at large is saying?
They don't CARE. As long as they are getting a good deal, they don't care.
Andreas can and did rip off...

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk

No "NAVY" on the wings? Oh. That would explain their absence on the decal sheet, then. The ones on the fuse are there. The decal sheets are very good, three sheets, with serial numbers, tail...
