Everybody in Pro-Am flies one flight on Wed., Thru., and Friday then only those that "make the cut" (top 15?) fly the fourth round. Pro-Am's fourth round is flown on Sunday along with the the...

RE: Scale ARFs in Competition Debate: 2011 edition

Read the judges comments and make the needed improvements too! Doing so can help turn a plane with an average static score the first few years (2003-?) into the High Static winner in Masters' Class...

RE: Scale ARFs in Competition Debate: 2011 edition

I agree with Cocobear! The new "Unlimited" Class at Top Gun 2011 was open to any or all that wanted to compete. Promoted as "the best money can buy". There is no "builder of the model" rule. So the...

RE: Top Gun

I've played that game before! I play it every year between the middle and the end of April. It's amazing how much stuff needs to be patched up each year, even if you didn't have a major incident...

Go to your neighborhood toy store or Walmart and look at the Super Soaker type water guns. Many different sizes and shapes of pressure tanks that can be used with some modifications.

RE: crop duster r/c

Yes this was the last year for that Thrush. Last year (2008) was the 20th anniversary so "any old plane was allowed " no matter the number of times it had appeared. The rule has now gone to 5 years...

RE: Tips on how to really look at a scale model!

No, haven't read the book, but I do remember an article, in RCM I think, about the scale R/C seagull that was used to make the movie back in the 70's.:)
