I think this is backwards. If the paint/dope is not fuel proof, its the top coat (i.e. clear coat) not the primer, that needs to be fuel proof.

Those servos are more than adequate for that cub. You can use better servos but you probably won't notice any difference given the way cubs fly. Looks like 4 servos if you use an aileron bell crank...

The FT160 definitely benefits from an on-board glow system. Switching to Fox Miracle plugs will also let you lean the engine more and greatly improve fuel economy.
