Does anyone on this thread know if the Alpha MiG is the same as the one distributed by Global Hobbies? Price is less than Hobby Lobby but plane looks the same.
Thanks

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

I second the cowl ring. I got wind of it here and on the GP website the manual for the Christen Eagle details how to build one. They also give good advice on how to strength the wheel pants.

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

I agree Bruce - One of the radios I have is the 8103 and I have contacted hh about the download. For the type of flying I do, the traditional non mixed method of servo hookup works for me.

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

Ok, that sounds logical. Off topic I know, but how would you set up a fuel dot on a glow engine where the fuel can go both to the tank and to the carb?

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

Tom
Thanx for the link and the sketch. Not confusing but I do have this question. If the gasoline can go either way (engine-tank) from the fuel dot, what prevents gas from flooding the carb?

RE: Seagull Models Edge 540-120 ?

Its the old version with everything glued in place. The wing is also a single piece and it is a bit of a mother to move around, but it flies well so who can argue?
