Why cant the cheap walkera brushless kit work with the 4#3b?

electric is nowhere near as confusing, no tuneing/nitro to deal with. But, nitro is better =)

as long as your electronics are protected, and you have a air filter on, you will be fine. just dont drive in deep puddles haha.

the motor is not a generator. all that will do is make the motor spin at full speed because you will bypass the esc. now if you got a mini altinator and drove it off the motor, you would lose some...

you need to shim the diffs, ae part # 21141. you can get them off ebay real cheap.

^^^^ thats exactly it. but overall alu. = strong and heavy and wont break (may bend tho). graphite = light and strong (twist wise), but can break. ususally, graphite is for racing.

my friend is selling his maxx, and it runs fine. hes tearing it down to clean it, and we are undecided as wether to sell it as a whole maxx or in parts. any ideas?

cant you just do that and take some of the metal tubeing that they wrap around the motors in boats and wrap it around the motor in the car? it would work fine.

if you look on the 4 way wrentch, there is a side that ball cups fit into so you can screw them on with that...

guys i just jumped on the brushless bandwagon and got that motor for 29$ after shipping, it is here! very good deal for a 7200kv motor :). now what esc to get, i want something cheap. any ideas?

make sure the gears are meshed correctly or elese you will strip it.

and to get proper mesh, put a peice of paper beteen the gears, push them together, tighten the screws, then pull the paper...

i just ran it today, and its pretty fast. it came with the graphite chassis too :D. anyway the motor was fairly warm after the run, and yet the esc was the same temp it was when i started! amazing.
