RE: DF brushless conversion

But the frame has to be purchased from http://www.rc-manufaktur.de/...

RE: Custom Camera Mount

Some just want bragging rights and show off some great pics, others just want to show a little bit but not reveal the entire package. Don't really blame BD but then again, this thread is over 100...

RE: plastic rotor screws?

If your still practicing/hovering and hitting stuff, yep nylon. If you're flying outside and getting frame strikes now and then, time for the brass screws. Especially with CF blades, don't risk a...

RE: Custom Camera Mount

Hi Will,

I wouldn't say it is hovering in a stable way at 200 feet but when I'm directly below it, I can tell if it is swaying in either direction so I can make small adjustments if it drifts. ...

RE: Custom Camera Mount

I have a feeling that is the last we'll hear of BlackDragan. The "ok, I will share soon" comment is always followed by dead silence.

I admit, I too have shared some pics with the forum but...

RE: Draganflyer SAVS/Intellicopter

Sorry guys but I have to chime in. Reno, my 2000 Audi A4 is ALWAYS in the damn shop. Control arms, engine light on, wheel bearings. It's been in there alot more often than my Camry. My buddy's...

RE: Help Please, My First Real Crash

Hi, I wouldn't waste time on the LED bit. It is very unlikely that could be the problem. You mentioned the different behavior when you move the top board around. It is more than likely one of the...

RE: Payload

2 oz Scott. But 2MP is borderline for even a 5x7 print.

RE: How hot is HOT

Yeah that's pretty hot and yes, hovering takes more juice than buzzing around plus your electronics stay cool with a flow of air going through.

Check that the meshing of the main gear and pinion...

RE: How to Make Money with your SAVS

:D...man you've got guts! The liability coverage must be insanely high for those.

I just can't trust anything that is non-electric. These nitro motors cutout just by looking at them funny. My...

RE: Signs of WORN OUT MOTORS

Yes Clement, the flight log is a must to track the hours spent on the motors and parts. Lacey's got the right idea too about replacing main gears when changing the bearings and motors.

Also, I...

RE: Shooting 6Megapixels with my SAVS

Pretty cool panoramas there Clement. But I always wondered how do you get those printed? I did this one with my DF for the city. Stitched 2 shots together, it was pretty easy.

Why R U using...

RE: Shooting 6Megapixels with my SAVS

Hey Clement, that remains true only for cyclic. The HH gyro will control the tail and if that one flakes out at 200 feet, good luck trying to land the thing :D Go for the Futaba 401. Better to...

RE: Shooting 6Megapixels with my SAVS

Yes the faster the better. F stops to play with. Most open when cloudy (2.8) and at the other end (more closed 7.2) when bright and sunny. Get shutter around 1/1000th the best. ASA always 200 or...
