So is the Rebel Hot to small for a first turbine?...

So is the Rebel Hot to small for a first turbine? Gets small too fast? Lands too fast? I did price one out and itís not a huge savings over the 2M Rebel.

RE: AMA & FAA Discussion Forum

If I understand it correctly, FPV by today's AMA guidelines is not much different than normal line of sight flying. No flying out of visual sight of the aiplane. Another pilot with a buddy box...

RE: Response to the upcoming FAA SUAS regulation

Airbear and Pilotfighter,

While this site does not allow name calling, I think I am within the rules to call your ideas narrow minded. Have you considered that 2 meter sailplanes could fall...

RE: FAA Decision Looms on Model Aircraft Regulations

If you compete with planes 33% and larger then I would have to guess you are talking about IMAC. If that is the case, then either the altimeter in your head is off or you are flying some of the...

RE: Are we really this bad?

Bipe Flyer,

Some of your comments struck a cord with me. Those saying that guys flying ARFs are in a different hobby. I've been building and flying for about 28 years which might make me an...

RE: Perry Pump needed on O.S. 1.60 for 3D?

The Goldberg Extra 300 (60 sized) does land very easily. If you were 100% on a Midstar then you should be able to land the Goldberg.

RE: Help..need best CG for 40% Carden 540 Edge...

If you're not comfortable pushing down elevator on landing then you should move the rudder servos to a pull-pull. Mine is at like 7 1/4" and no down elevator is needed on landing. When I roll...

RE: Your thoughts after reading JR 12X manual

I have already seen the 12X advertised for 1399. That's only $200 more than the 12FG. I figure I'll own the transmitter for at least 5 years (my 10X is 5yrs old now). That works out to $40 a year...
