I dug a bit further on the mini morris motors site they do sell the carb on it's own for 36,,
Could the problem be because the carb is vertical as the other petrol engines it is horizontal ?.

I use mat / brilliant Polyurethane 2 pack car varnish, it won't budge weathers it's methanol / petrol / jet fuel, and it will Harden in Under 15c temperatures.

My Rcgf 15cc is still going strong although I have had 2 ( on this and my 20cc rcgf ) hk ignition boxes go on me and a new Rexel also which would give the proper RPM readings it did make the engine...

I friend of mine has the P 40 with a RCGB 20cc in his, running an APC 16 X 10 at 7.400 rpm and it leaves my Zero standing,,, :mad:
But the 15cc is a nice motor, it has 10 litres of fuel through it...

I seemed to have it sorted out, the bolt on the end of the crankshaft that takes the prop was 0.40mm out of line (bent), after straightening it out and running it a 1/8 of a turn richer I am getting...

Thanks for all your advice on the Forum, :p I have run the engine with the timing between 26 and 30 this morning and it does lose between 200 and 500 rpm, it loses the 500 rpm with the 13 X 6 apc...
