Jetmech is spot on. Thats how I do mine except I tune the high speed needle first then the low speed. I have a Magnum XLS 25 and that is one of the smoothest, best running engines I have ever owned....

I have never owned an LT-40 so can't comment but I do have an LT-25 and it flies almost as slow as the Senioritas I have owned. It should take more of a beating than the stick built planes too.

Good points about fuel proofing. But the GP Big Stik does not have a removable hatch so it would be nearly impossible to fuel proof with epoxy. I really like having a removable hatch.
