RE: UCD

I & C,

I am using the stock tank with my YS 120. I did wrap the tank once the around the long ways and in two places on the sides. You will just need to open up the formers in the fuse a bit for...

RE: U Can Do 3D

RE: Belly Pan

Thanks, guys. Yea, I know it is really easy to build one, but if someone had a crashed UCD and I didn't have to build one, that would be great. Call me lazy......

Belly Pan

In the same vein as the canopy, does anyone have a belly pan? It could be used or new. The plane just looks funny without it.

Built up pull/pull kit

Ralph,

Thanks for the link. I knew about SWB, but I am looking for a tray that is built from wood and not an anodized metal one.

Built up pull/pull kit

What I am looking for is a commercial kit that someone is selling. You could get it with 4" or 5" bellcranks and they will sell you a pre-built tray or the kit where you build the tray.

Thanks,

Built up pull/pull kit

I am looking for a built up laser cut pull/pull rudder servo kit for 35% and 40% aircraft. I saw one online somewhere, but for the life of me I can't remember where. The kit came with laser cut wood,...

WreckR,

I forgot  that I once had to solder the pins for my Rf module (8UAF). One or two of the pins came loose from bad solder joints and my removing the Rf module to adjust the...

Futaba 9C Range Problems...

WreckRman, I agree with you. I know I always go for @ least 100ft. This is probably redundant, but make sure you are not pointing your antenna directly at the plane. That is the weakest part of the...

Tapered sleeve

Mel,

I don't know about your engine exactly, but if it has a removable cylinder sleeve, take a look at the bottom end of it. All the sleeves that I have run into have a tapered bottom. Lube the...

Yet Another Ohio Model Planes Giant Scale Edge 540 Profile Build Thread

Moses,

Everything is fine. The center section has a taper to it. Were I to do it again, I would modify the center section to match the inboard rib of the wing. If you notice, they don't match. I...

I like it a lot. I have no range problems with anything electric to glow and even single conversion receivers and I don't have to be concerned about getting it in the prop. Only bad part is it does...

.25 opinions

For weight/power/ease of use, go with an OS 25FX, IMO. They run great right out of the box every time. Put a mousse can on and on 15%, they spin 17.5k on an APC 9X4 and start first flip almost every...
