RE: Off Comment Joke Saved a Plane

Heli pilots use throttle to cyclic (aileron and elevator) mixing to counter bog (slowing of headspeed) When bog occurs cyclic rates slow and flips and rolls are not of consitent speed (just like...

RE: OS "F" Plug

I've been told the ys 4 stroke plug is the same as the os f exactly except for the os typed in the side. The benifit is the ys only costs half as much. Apparently there hard to find. I don't really...

RE: Shrike 10 with a OS25VF....

Nope it's physicaslly imposible. The prop (8x6) would have to turn 26400 rpm to do that in a perfect world. Now factor in drag (double the speed you quadruble the drag) you need about 31000-33000 to...

RE: MVVS 58cc in a WM p51

I'd go for it. You'll probably only need about 1/4-1/3lb of lead to balance and you may even be able to just move your battery back. Not sure if the airframe can handel it since I don't own one but...

RE: TRU-TURN , DA-50 QUESTION

CF spiners are far lighter than aluminum (tru turn, dave brown, etc) as for price I don't really know since I've never priced them.

RE: funtana stunts

Check your lateral cg. Even with the lateral cg right some planes will drop a wing with large amounts of elevator. You could also check to make sure you have even amounts of spoilerons on each side.

RE: Your first crash? I want to hear about it...

Famous last words of my tiger 2 " you thought that inverted pass was low :D" I rolled inverted at about 40' and realized I had no forward stick control. I pushed Full forward stick but I never...

RE: Brake Activation with JR X-378

First off the 182 wont have a need for brakes but if you would like them anyway I would plug them into ch 7 then use a free mix that is always on to mix elevator to brake (ch7) 100% on forward stick...

RE: Can't Get My Raptor 30 Tail To Hold.... Anymore

Try replacing the stock tail blades if everything is fine. The stock blades have a lot of flex and lead to tail wag. I run ms carbon tail blades with zero wag. With the stock tail blades the heli had...

RE: My First Crash !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your crash

Sounds like it snapped (one wing half stalled) in the corner then spun in. To recover from a spin you must keep the nose pointed down until the wing is moving at...

RE: New Ultra Stick Lite 1.20 build

Looks cool. Don't prop that engine for speed. You wont have that plane for long[X(]. Flutter will be your ennemy. The pipe going halfway down the fuse looks cool[8D]. Although a bit out of place on a...

RE: CRASH, this sucks , first time out

Sounds like your gyro is reversed. If you've never flown before get help from a expirienced pilot.

RE: Looking to get into Helis.

For a first machine I'd say get a rappy. Cheap to crash and parts are plentiful (trust me you will crash). I'd get the V2 30 with TT 39 and a 401 gyro with 9253 servo. All that can be gotten from...

RE: Raptor 30 V2 strips my servos

You don't need super servos on a R30. People have been fying them here for years on JR 537's which is just a standard ball bearing servo. I flew the 537's for about 100 flights then put in a set of...
