RE: New lids for Sherman hulls?

I don't appreciate the insinuation of being called a liar. Several years worth of work went into that project and a weak economy and rising costs put the project on the shelf. The first release...

RE: Good photos of a WWII German Tetra Fire Ext.

That would be an early one if memory serves. That one appears to be in RLM66. Starting in late 1941 or early 1942 they were painted RAL8020. There are also great photos of them at Missing-Lynx...

RE: New Tanker in Florida

About 2 hours south of you and Paul and can do electronics and other upgrades if you like. I was supposed to get a website going but have been inundated with new business and haven't had the time.

RE: Heng Long new 1:16 rc m4a3 sherman tank is released

I'm a little rusty, but the angle of the glacis looks like that for a small hatch Shermie.

RE: Gear Pullers/Pinions

In Europe the Graupner Speed400 motors are fairly easy to acquire. They are quite powerful and will not over power electronics. Standard shaft size is 2.3mm and any hobby sized puller can pull the...

RE: Waltersons 105mm Sherman

What is a "standard sherman"? The most popular were the M4 and M4A1 with the narrow hatches. But if you were British, the M4A4 was your "standard sherman". It really depends on when and what...

RE: Mato Sherman Lights Flash Won't Run

They're supposed to flash until the "engine" is started up. Since you have the wrong radio, the tank is not getting any signal to start up.

RE: Waltersons Gear/Tank Supplier

Has anyone put a tach light on the pinion shaft of these motors while hooked up to a TK-RX18 to see what kind of RPMs these motors turn? Judging by the specs, these seem comparable to the old Black...

RE: Waltersons Gear/Tank Supplier

Thanks! Got the motor specs earlier, those 5-pole motors look like the 385s I used to use. Will work to add these to the calculator during the holiday weekend.

I know what you mean, I have three daughters as well!

RE: Taigen Tanks

Those early small hatch A3s were Ford's and were kept in the states for training until late '44 when the shortage of tanks prompted their release to both theaters. They are unique but were in the...

RE: Heng Long Electronics.

I enjoyed the El Mod system which was made to work with the stock radio and board. Made it easy to keep a bunch of tanks running with compatible gear. Looking forward to using Darkith's systems on...
