RE: Seagull Stearman

Let us know how the plane looks when you get it. I wonder if they have permission to use the red baron trademark images? Anyway it does look great. I'd love to have one.

RE: Great Planes Seawind

I agree totally about using two strokes to keep the weight down. Some people have moved the tank around and used a pump. I also have see a EP version with the batteries used for balance. It flew...

RE: Great Planes Seawind

I'd doubt that a 70 FS is adequate to even get it off the ground, much less water. Not for any distance anyway. I'd call that flirting with disaster. A 990 -100 FS should be good though. I have a...

RE: Hobby Lobby Decathlon ARF

Look at this, it's a bit more up to date:

It might be the same plane from another seller.

RE: SEAWIND BY RICHMODEL

The wing area on the GP version (I don't know anything about the other, but they don't look the same) is a bit decieving. We know that other parts contribute to lift as well as the wings. Look at...

RE: Electric Decathlon

I'd look into a AXI 2808 or 2814. Or a E-Flite - Power 25. I have moved to the eflite motor since I think they are a better buy right now. Although their motor might be a bit to powerful for a plane...

RE: Seawind conversion

I am just putting a 4120 in a CG Cub. yup it does cog more than the E-Flite 60. I have the two of them side by side. But the rotating case on the E-Flite is about 1/2: longer than the Axi. I would...

That is a great idea, I'll follow suit. Where did you get the material? Or could any silicon be used? Would a process like this work? >> Cover the fuse root area with a clear wrap, then appling...

RE: ARF, ARF, Who's got the GOOD ARF?

My two cents worth:

I am building a CG Cub ARF right now. The red, white and blue version. The glue joints seem good and everything fits properly. The covering job is good, but the material...
