RE: Wild Hare Extra 260 Pictures

I was running a BME 27x10 (Menz knock-off).
I had not gotten up enough courage to try hovers down low yet. Did a couple up high. Anywhere between 1/4 and 1/2 throttle. I think the BME 110 is a...

RE: Anyone using Futaba S9206 in a 33% or bigger plane? Thoughts?

What a timely question.
I just replaced the Futaba 9151's on the ailerons of my H9 1/3 CAP 232.
The 9151's worked great at first... but began to flutter/hunt in the center region. I wrecked one...

RE: BME 102 Carb

RCIGN1,
Where can I get some of this G10? What is it (i.e. metallic substance, composite, etc)? How do you machine it?

I'm absolutely not afraid of doing a little fabrication.
For what...

RE: BME 102 Carb

Hmmm, must have been an engineering change somewhere along the way. I wish mine looked like Geistware's. Would have made servo/linkage installation much easier.

Ben, there is only one set of...

RE: BME 102 Carb

bake,
I have a BME 102, and just finished installing it in a 33% H9 CAP 232.
The bottom line is.... yup, that's the way the carb is mounted. Makes the throttle servo/linkage a bit of a...

RE: Gas Oil Mixture Calculator

Here's an easy formula, incase you don't have access to that website;

((128 * G) / R) = ounces of oil.

Where;
G = Gallons of gas
R = the mixture ration (eg. 40 for 40:1, 50 for 50:1,...

RE: Hangar 9 Cap 232 1/3

RE: NIMH battery charging question

bluestratos, how hot did the pack get when the cycler overcharged it? If it got too hot (like too hot to hold in your hand), then I'd probably ditch the pack... I wouldn't use it in my $3000...

RE: Dual Batteries Saved my Plane

Geistware, I've heard about the dreaded "black wire disease"... I'd be curious if you've contracted it... peel the insulation back and see if the copper wire has begun to change.
Did you replace...

What prop size for BME 102

I'm planning to mount a BME 102 in a 1/3 H9 CAP 232.
I know what the BME manual says...
But, I'm interested in what folks are actually using.
What prop seems to work well on the BME 102?

RE: NICD or NIMH

I've built the EF YAK 54, and have been flying it since last fall.

How much current does the Falkon electronic ignition draw on a ZDZ 80

Ever wonder just how much current the Falkon electronic ignition draws on your ZDZ 80.

RE: Attn. 33% H9 Cap owners...How do they 3d?

Tim had his CAP out there a couple months ago, with a BME 110 in it... goes vertical like a rocket.
He set his up with a pull-pull on the rudder to reduce tail weight.

RE: Ace DigiPace Question

pacoritter,
Check your email.
There should be a zip file attachment, containing a digitized version (aka .pdf) of all the docs for the DIGIPACE I

Let me know how it works out for you.
