I was wondering what prop I should use for my FF ship? The ship weighs in at about 2.5lbs and has a WS of 39" with a WA of 650sq". I'm also using a MCM. I've used an APC 9x5 turning 15,800 on the...

Will you be covering or glassing the ship. That can make a huge weight difference to the end result. I'm covering mine just because I can't paint worth a %**%@#_*(&. Keep us posted on your...

60 size plane weight.

The older Kaos had lots and lots of wood making it very heavy. I would consider putting Bolly carbon gear on the fuse just in front of the LE of the wing. I'm doing that to mine and boy does it...

60 size plane weight.

That sounds great! 6 to 6.5lbs is light for that particular ship. If you were to delete the retracts and opt for some bolly carbon gear you would save even more weight. Thats what I'm doing to my...

Prop size for ST-90 in APC brand

I don't have this combo, but I've heard guys using a 14*7 apc. Hope that helps. By the way, are you doing 3D? If so, then you'll want to use a different prop. Maybe a 15*5 might work.

JWN, was the Tipo Plus's wing thick? This one has a wing thickness of 2 1/8 inches and the stab is rather thin. The fuse has 2 sets of marks (+) and (-) where the stab would be. I think its for...
