RE: 56' razor yak

Thanks Mike. I'm going with the Saito 100 for sure. I've been using the Xoar props and really like them so I'll probably do the same with the Saito. I have'nt started on it yet. I'm going to Las...

RE: 56' razor yak

What prop do you use John? I like the sound and torque of the Saito. I've used them in the past. I've never tried any other 4 strokes. I'm looking foward to the RY and Saito combo.

RE: V2 Katana battery location and mounting

Alright guys here's the update. My friend has his balanced at 6.5 behind the LE and it is still a little nose heavy for me, his is around 7 pounds in weight. I have mine balanced at 6 7/8 right now...

katana V2 70 CG question

I see alot of others are at 6.5 inches as far as cg goes. Does anyone know if 7 inches would be too far aft? I don't want the plane to fly level inverted, I'd rather give it some input but not much....

RE: flash foamie from r/c factory

Olin, I'm building another one as we speak. My old one is getting beat up. Nice looking build for your first one ever oosel. One thing to remember on any plane is to keep your servo mounted 90...

RE: V2 Katana battery location and mounting

Now I see what you're saying and thanks. I'll use rubber bands like wessco said to get the balance where it should be and fine tune with the battery after mounting the engine and flying it. Thanks...

RE: V2 Katana battery location and mounting

I understand what you're saying and thanks. If you mount the engine first you may not have enough roon in the wing to move the battery as much as might be needed though. Been there and done that. I...

RE: V2 Katana battery location and mounting

Problem is that I've done that before and could'nt get the CG right with the battery being moved. I figured I would mount everything and do the motor last for CG reasons. I would hate to mount the...

I'm to the point of mounting my battery now. I'm using a Fromeco 2600 lithium and a Fromeco Sahara Regulator. The engine os an OS .91 2 stroke. I was wondering where the battery might be mounted with...

RE: Saito 125 on the Fusion

Thanks for the reply Mike. Do you think a good 100 oz servo would do ok on the elevator or do you suggest sticking with 2 servos?

RE: Yak 54 Indoor Foamy. What should i buy?

For light weight indoor models go to fancy foam and check those out. We fly them every week indoors. The Yak and Vrolet are awsome. The other ones I have'nt flown yet.

RE: QQ aircraft. The End?

The Yak is an awsome plane no doubt about it. My good friend who builds for me actually has my Gen. 3 and loves it. He builds kits from Carden and flys those too but still loves the Yak. ARF's have...

RE: QQ aircraft. The End?

I've never seen better support from any other company and that's one thing I loved about Somenzini's team. Molly and the gang were ALWAYS the best to talk to.

RE: QQ aircraft. The End?

So who here is flying which Somenzini design? I've had 2 102", Gen. 2 & Gen. 3 , a 86" , a 73" I believe it was and now the Python.
They all flew great for me.

RE: My next QQ the Python

Thanks for the reply. Is there any details that can be spoken of as far as QQ starting another company or not? I hope there is more to come from him as far as the ARF planes are concerned.

Thats all I'm stating, thanks for the backup. I was never looking for insults or a fight. I love QQ airplanes and it's a shame that it's over although I do believe we have'nt seen the last of QQ. I...

RE: QQ aircraft. The End?

I fly just fine, the point is things can and will go wrong and it's nice to have parts if ever needed.
