RE: Confused about 450 Sport Mechanical Blade-Pitch Adjustment

From the manual...

PIT: This is the switch that controls the setting for pitch adjustment. The starting setting should be with the knob set to the 10:00 o’clock position.

RE: 5S vs 2 x 3S lipos for Trex 500

As has already been said, no right or wrong way to do this, just avoid having a heli that acts like a nodding dog.
Her that shall be obeyed uses 5S / 15T pinion on her 500, if I use it I just shove...

RE: Align Trex 550E

I think that the 550E is what they (Align) had hoped the 600E should of been.
Very very tempted I must say, nice compromise machine between the agility and power to weight ratio of the 500 and the...

RE: Scorpion -8 with composite tail and swashplate?

Headspeed is always going to depend on what pinion you run.
The 2221-8 isn't ballistic in terms of RPM / Volt - 3595 rpm / volt according to the specs.
Adjust your pinion to the headspeed you...

RE: HK 450 Pro belt edition

I'm curious m8, why'd you choose the Belt and not the TT?
Also, when you add up the costs of the radio gear etc, what's it compare like to a Pro Combo?
I know the equipment level is different and...

RE: T-Rex 500 Pinion Gear

6S 13T
5S 15T to start 16T if you want more headspeed (doubtful)

RE: 1320 11.1 Battery in a T-Rex 250

Quite the reverse in fact, the T250 uses by design 11.1V

1320mah seems a little big for the T250 tbh

RE: Trex 500GF Pitch/Throttle Curves

Her indoors runs pretty much the same throttle and pitch as noobflyer.

Before discussing throttle and pitch it would be helpful to know what battery are you using and what pinion

She's...

3S 1800 in a 400

Never used anything that small tbh

RE: warning about futaba radios

I don't see how any distributor could tell if you were using a TX with a sim, so it does seem somewhat daft.
As far as I'm aware Futaba TX's don't come with a sim, especially one that's free...

RE: Blade tracking problem

RE: Blade tracking problem

Sure sounds like the dampners are shot / too soft when tracking fine when relatively unloaded in normal flight then loosing tracking as soon as you go 3D.
I'd be using a slightly harder dampner on...
