RE: Troy Built Models Carbon Fiber Accesories quality?

I have never had a problem out of the gear Troybuilt sells. The only failure has been due to landings that would of flattened out aluminum gear. Some people always say they made a nice smooth...

RE: Cannister Vents

I would be careful with the Canisters in this Plane. I know of 1 which was destroyed due to spar failure from the heat of the cans on the spars. So shielding the spars and having plenty of cooling is...

RE: Life of servos, gears in 35%

I have not had Hitec charge to replace any gears in the 5945 servos. As to your question I do not think that the 5645 is an acceptable servo for a 35% airplane. This might be why you are getting the...

RE: ZN Spinner Screws

The screws that come with the spinner are 4-40, but I have been tapping out the hole and using 6-32 button head screws like the 4-40 for the reason you are speaking of.

RE: Quique's Yak - Where's it from?

The Yakstra as I call it because if you have seen pictures of the real YAK 54 is more of a midwing shoulderwing airplane. Quiques airplane has a very low wing like an extra hence the name I have...

Comp-ARF Extra 330 Spinner

The Plane looks just fine with the 5 inch spinner. That is what the cowl was designed around, I think the 4 1/2 inch spinner looks odd on the plane IMHO.

Advantage of 2 receivers?

The main reason I use dual receiver's in my 35% planes and up is that I have landed a Plane with 2 receiver's in it with only 1 working saved a 3500 dollar airplane for the cost of an extra receiver....

3W 75, 85 B2, or BME 102/105 for the H9 Sukhoi??

What I am simply saying is that the 110 is an untested engine as far as the average production motor. I do not believe prototypes tell the whole story on how a production motor is going to perform....
